Job Summary:

Raytheon Technologies, Supply Chain has an opportunity for an International Subcontract Manager (Procurement Professional) who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment to lead in the international sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and manage the entire subcontract purchase order life cycle for DoD, FMS and DCS customers. In this prominent role you will enjoy a high-level of activity and interacting with others in support of International requirements for Raytheon Missiles and Defense business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers including material program managers, programs, manufacturing, planning, engineering and mission assurance /quality. You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Ensuring accurate and complete requirements for materials and services are communicated to suppliers
  • Understand and execute to all Export/Import Requirements including supporting telecons, face to face meetings, and all Export/Import documentation and reporting
  • Analyze supplier quotes/ proposals and perform complex Cost & Price Analysis
  • Negotiates reasonable prices based on price and cost analysis as well as terms and conditions negotiations
  • Place Letter subcontracts, Purchase Orders, and facilitate Change Management on contracts including documentation in EPAD system Managing and reporting on supplier performance in the areas of cost, quality and schedule performance as well as material sales reporting
  • Prepare and issue requests for proposal based on required technical, quality, delivery, and FAR requirements
  • Manages all metrics related to the desk Contributes to improvement to processes, systems or products
  • Travel up to 25% may be required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum 8 years' relevant experience years’ in procurement, or a combination of experience in procurement with engineering, manufacturing operations, finance, or quality or an Advanced degree in a related field plus a minimum 5 years' relevant experience years’ in procurement, or a combination of experience in procurement with engineering, manufacturing operations, finance, or quality
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

  • Efficient and knowledge of SAP and other procurement tools.

  • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) – ability to place POs over TINA

  • Experience with Government purchase orders

  • Negotiations and proposal experience in the areas as described above

  • Experience purchasing mechanical commodities

  • International Export / Import requirements, RGEMS Import/Export Plans, etc).

  • Ability to travel internationally
