Job Summary:

We have a great opportunity for a proven subcontract management professional in a key role. You will be responsible for the overall subcontract management activities in support of domestic subcontracts supporting the Shelters and Structures Integrated Supplier Team (IST). You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment supporting a broad portfolio of programs, various contract types, and contract complexity.  You will report to the IST Associate Director and perform all related Supply Chain requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, PO award, post-award management, and close-out activities. You will play a critical part in this fast-paced environment supporting the growth of our company and the challenges associated with maintaining a competitive advantage and supporting our warfighters.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Preparation and issuance of RFPs, RFIs and managing proposal compliance including cost and pricing data analysis, manage an overarching agreement, place and manage Letter Subcontracts, perform complex price analysis, and EPAD documentation and terms and conditions negotiations.
  • Drive the success of meeting financial requirements in support of AOP.
  • Responsible for the success for metrics; Late to Place, Delinquent Material, PR to PO cycle time, etc.
  • Leads the Supplier team and facilitates relationships between program office/functional organizations and suppliers. Utilizes project management skills and techniques when managing suppliers.
  • Nurture professional business relationships with subcontractors.
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations.
  • Lead and host telecons multiple times a week for supplier and program interaction.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain management to include subcontracts/procurement or similar role OR an Advanced degree and 5 years’ experience in supply chain management to include subcontracts/procurement or similar role
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review.
  • International Export/Import Requirements (RGEMS, Licenses, Marking, etc)
  • Experience/Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Project planning and management
  • Assess proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
  • Price analysis and negotiations skills, including cost and pricing data requirement
  • SAP-based environment experience.
