    The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

    The Enterprise Application Services team is looking for a candidate as an Application Engineering Transformation (ATE) Intern. In this role the candidate will gain experience with managing a company wide application transformation program. The candidate will partner with various teams in orchestrating, designing and delivering a robust solution to meet business goals.

    What You Will do

    • Assist with the coordination and administration of the Application Transformation Engineering (ATE) program to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables.

    • Assist in the seamless transition of applications to Azure and AWS cloud environments, enhance application modernization through the development of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and facilitate the integration of Single Sign-On (SSO) for Enterprise Application Software (EAS) systems

    • Collaborate with Enterprise Services (ES), business units, and external vendors to design and implement a robust transformation solution that aligns with business goals.

    • Engage in stakeholder meetings to capture requirements, maintain comprehensive documentation, and support the creation of project plans and status reports.

    • Contribute to the technical design process, including diagram creation and framework outlining, while recommending process enhancements for the application transformation.

    • Support quality assurance efforts by aiding in test plan development, monitoring solution performance post-implementation, and gathering user feedback for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • Candidates must be currently pursuing a college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related Technology discipline. Please upload unofficial transcript with your application.

    • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • Familiarity with cloud computing and DevOps

    • Knowledge of Agile Methodology

    • Exposure to Change Management

    Location: This position is in Farmington, CT and is a hybrid role.
    Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:
    Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

    The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
