At Pratt & Whitney, the difference you make is on display every day. Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?
The Supplier Development Lead position (SDL) requires working on site at assigned Pratt & Whitney suppliers in the Northeast area to assist them on their journey to achieve platinum level performance. The suppliers in the area range from Casting and Forging houses to machining and distributors. The SDL’s function would involve training and coaching for root cause analysis of quality and delivery misses, lean manufacturing, cell design, capacity assessment, equipment maintenance, EH&S issues, and shop cleanliness. The SDL also works to improve the relationship between Pratt & Whitney and the supplier by improving the communications, minimizing the number of outside visits, catalyst for additional business opportunities, reducing performance risks, and developing long term relationships.
