What YOU will do:
You will administer Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include patching, creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security.
You will use and develop with automation tools/frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
You will install, administer, and troubleshoot recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter).
You will work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
You will develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.

Education & Experience:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications you must have:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI security clearance with CI polygraph security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
Must have experience with Linux, hardware, troubleshooting, and scripting.
Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 10% travel.
Full time 100% Onsite position
Must be able to lift 35 pounds for hardware installs.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
