    System Engineer - Level II Engineer

    Position will be located at Schriever SFSB at the MDIOC. Successful candidate must possess the ability to technically diagnose, mitigate/troubleshoot issues, and contribute to an on-site team providing 24x7 support to the application suites that are globally dispersed in different time zones. Candidate will lead or participate in system troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance activities, to include on-site and/or telephonic maintenance support. Furthermore, candidate will serve as application subject matter expert providing Level 2 troubleshooting, break fix and preventative maintenance actions, which involved interaction with remote sites and different levels of leadership within the command center. Candidate must be a proven self-starting problem solver, capable of planning, coordinating, directing and controlling their individual projects, and possess the capability to work with limited supervision. Our Level 2 Maintainers are driven by and enabled to be visionary and come up with better and new ways of innovation from automated provisioning of systems to enterprise monitoring.

    Required Skills and Experience:
    -Highly skilled in System Administration, Monitoring, Application and Automated delivery disciplines to ensure quick and efficient delivery of systems in its performance, uptime and cyber posture. 
    -Sound knowledge and practical experience to direct the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and/or Operating Instructions (OIs) to effectively administer, operate and manage services under the contract and operational control 
    -In depth background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments. 
    -In depth experience in system and/or network administration that could include the following (Linux, Windows, Nutanix cloud infrastructure, MDA CLAN and DISA EM network usage). 
    -In depth experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components using bash/pearl scripting or Ansible. 
    -In depth background and experience in data flow usage and ability to troubleshoot with DISA and MDA network connectivity. 
    -Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    -Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
    •An active and in-scope Top Secret U.S. security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. 

    Typically Required Education:
    A Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) and typically 8 years' of relevant experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

    In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $89,000 to $189,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
