Position Overview:
Collins Aerospace is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join the Rotary Wing Cargo Systems Group. This team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and verification of CH-47F flight decks for the US Army and international customers. This engineer filling this role will be part of the platform systems team and be responsible for requirements, integration, and test engineering tasks as assigned by the Platform team lead.

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work both on and offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. Primary Responsibilities:
Learn and effectively use requirements capture, peer review, configuration management, and AGILE development tools.
On-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases)
Support updates to system level documentation
Decompose and allocate requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace
Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and less than 12 months of experience
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools.
Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing.
