As a Systems Engineer on the Advanced Data Links Team, you will be part of a multi-functional team comprised of Systems and Hardware engineers leading development of our next generation communications products supporting our military and their partners.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Specific responsibilities of this position include leading engineering systems efforts throughout the   system lifecycle, including subsystem requirements analysis, definition, and validation; systems and card level integration and requirements verification testing; effective technical collaboration among systems, hardware and software design functions; assisting in resolving technical problems that cross functional domain areas of hardware and software; and supporting customer platform integration.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or Science field
    • 2-5 years of Experience working as an engineer in a development environment
    • Familiarity with systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation, and transition to production. 
    • Experience in multiple stages of development life cycle.
    • Must be capable to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
    • Ability to travel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong Preference for current DoD Secret Clearance.
    • Familiarity with design and development to meet environment and EMI standards such as MIL-STD-810
    • Familiarity with comm engineering architectures (e.g: general radio transceiver architectures/designs, basic radio functional component blocks, performance specifications and test methodologies)
    • Knowledge of RF propagation, testing,
    • Experience working with and testing embedded hardware and software
    • Familiarity with engineering development in an agile environment.
    • Experience with Python scripting, Matlab, and similar engineering tools
