    Raytheon Intelligence and Space, located in Aurora, Colorado is looking for a candidate to join our world-class engineering team as a Systems Engineering Analyst. The selected candidate will receive specialized training in order to support our team and then apply that training as the situation asks.  Activities will include data analysis, preparation and presentation of results.  The selected team member will learn and implement subsystem related processes for recurring anomalies and provide support during non-standard events thus becoming an engineering technical resource.

    Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    • Routine monitoring and logging of system conditions
    • Maintain good working relationships through direct interaction and collaboration with customers, peers and associate engineers
    • Execution of subsystem related processes
    • Maintain awareness of operation status of subsystem hardware and supporting monitoring scripts

    Clearance Requirements:

    An active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. polygraph.

    Required skills include:

    • Willingness and ability to occasionally support events during off hours
    • Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral settings on technical topics
    • Ability to learn in a self-directed setting while also optimizing chances to gain knowledge as they come
    • Ability to work in a multi-tasking dynamic environment under general direction
    • An understanding of engineering tradeoffs
    • Capability of utilizing analysis methods and tools to trouble shoot various events
    • Ability to learn and understand a wide application of technical theories and concepts
    • Essential attributes would include being a self-starter

    Desired skills include:

    • Experience with two or more of the following: Electronic systems, Electro-mechanical systems, Software applications and/or data processing systems
    • Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. 
    • Practical knowledge of complex systems with the ability to make enhancements. 
    • Aptitude to learn quickly and multi-task in a high pressure work environment

    Education Requirements: 

    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 two years of experience. Four years of additional equivalent experience or military experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. 

    Employee Referral Award Eligibility:

    Only employees currently within RMD and RI S have the potential to receive a Referral Award for submitting a referral to RMD and RI S roles.  ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the Referral Awarding.

    The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
