Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support multi-functional team leadership, troubleshooting, and execution of developmental assembly and testing.
  • Be expected to work in a team environment to ensure assembly operations readiness and flawless execution of test vehicle plan, builds, teardowns, and inspections., often in a high-pressure environment while working with minimum outside supervision.
  • Become expose to a talented and diverse multi-disciplinary organization while working with highly skilled hourly and salaried employees, as well as partners and customers.
  • Support programs including F119, F135, APU, and Geared Turbofan.

Basic Qualifications:

  • AA/AS Degree in technical discipline Airframe and Power Plant Certification
  • 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing, engine or airframe, or product validation work environment.
  • Or other 2-year post high school training or Military experience & 12+ experience in manufacturing, engine or airframe, or product validation work environment
  • US Citizen due to Government contracts.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military training a plus
  • Experience with jet engine hardware, assembly, instrumentation and/or testing
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine engines. Working knowledge of test equipment and instrumentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and interpersonal skills required to prioritize actions and manage multiple activities.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes.
  • An effective communicator
  • Become adaptable to change
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Flexibility to adapt to fluid customer requirements, priorities, and schedules.
  • Frequent off-shift coverage and ability to flex schedule to cover weekends is required to support 24/7 test operations.
  • Position requires periodic travel to offsite test locations within the United States (TN, CT, etc.) and occasional travel to test sites around the world.
