Value Stream Manager (Onsite)

Primary Responsibilities:

• This position leads a value stream within a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) shop for aerospace electronics. Below are the primary responsibilities:
• Directly lead a cross-functional value stream including 20+ shop floor employees spanning three shifts, plus members from engineering, customer administration, and materials. Total team size is 25 – 30 people.
• Lead the value stream to ensure quality and on-time delivery of repaired electronic components from commercial and military aircraft.
• Make monthly shipment and sales commitments, and ensure execution of commitments.
• Drive employee engagement and development of all team members in the value stream.
• Implement efficiency improvements within value stream.
• Complete lean manufacturing projects and events.
• Address any safety concerns within the team to ensure no injuries.
• Develop and execute capacity and staffing plans to hit performance metrics.
• Communicate with customers on critical priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
