This role is responsible for managing the financial reporting and internal control functions of the Bonded Abrasives Plants, ensuring financial results are reported accurately and on a timely basis. The incumbent will develop and maintain the business' budgeting, financial planning, control, accounting, reporting, accounting policies and practices. Analyzes financial results and provides management with an understanding of the company's financial performance and the financial effect of business plans and strategies. As a member of the Bonded Management Team, this person will provide guidance and support to all functional areas as applicable. Make recommendations for improvements and/or changes to accounting and informational systems, and implement approved changes to facilitate the rapid and accurate collection of accounting data.
Ten years of accounting experience equivalent to that of a Controller or a Financial Manager is required. This position requires the skills associated with a Master's Degree in accounting as well as significant experience in production management, computer systems and inventory management.
