    Summary
    The Customer Experience Associate Intern will drive and support customer loyalty creation across all CertainTeed businesses.  The intern will be responsible for maintaining customer relationship through phone calls, emails, web forms and live chats daily.  The position will implement and execute a strategy for creating and fostering relationships with customers and gaining a competitive advantage in the market.  The position will involve collecting voice of customer feedback and proactively work on promoting business.  The intern will be a part of our growing initiative to engage our customer relationship management system and work alongside customer experience management to present different voice of customer and sales data. 

    The intern must utilize their experience and skills to provide a hands on approach to problem solving.  Strong problem-solving, investigative, and decision making skills are essential.  The internship is intended to give students hands-on experience and exposure across the Saint Gobain and Certainteed business.   

    Essential Functions

    • Support all CertainTeed business in building strong relationships and portfolios of loyal customers through prospecting new customers

    • Ensure customers receive best in class customer experience through phone calls, emails and live chats

    • Identify and pursue opportunities for business development and strategy

    • Proactively promote CertainTeed products through digital campaigns

    Required Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited degree program

    • Demonstrate pro-activeness and initiative when dealing with queries

    • A positive attitude with the ability to ‘make things happen’ is a must

    • Working knowledge of MS Teams/Zoom

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Good interpersonal skills

    • Must be a proven team player with the ability to work on own initiative

    • Results focused

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Must have proven planning, organization and time management skills

    • Computer literate with previous knowledge of SalesForce being an advantage (training will be provided)
