As Customer Service Manager, you are responsible for the daily activities of a customer service representative while also managing the team and function efficiently, as well as the identification and implementation of continuous improvements.
The role also coordinates with colleagues in the other Aerospace composite locations to ensure that information is accurately and efficiently.
Provides leadership and supervision to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment that supports achieving the Department’s and the Company’s mission, objectives, and values.
Identifies and implements ideas to continuously improve the efficiency of the customer service functions. This includes automation of tasks and implementation of tools to provide a higher level of responsiveness to customers. Also, works with operations to streamline and automate the flow of information from book-to-bill.
Develops and modifies departmental procedures and processes to support business and regulatory requirements; creates quality assurance tools to ensure completion, quality, and timeliness.
Provides day-to-day customer service activities including order entry and processing, PO and pricing updates, and data entry into all customer portals. Coordinates customer and manufacturing scheduling and delivery dates. Manages customer carrier needs and all non-standard ECCN paperwork and export license. Assist in processing quality claims and RMA requests. Additionally, logs customer complaints and compliments.
Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Engineering, Science or equivalent
7+ years' experience in a position responsible of administration, involving customer service, order entry and/or demand planning forecasting
Experience in Microsoft Office proficiency and knowledge of general office operations
Experience with ERP systems
Demonstrated effectiveness at managing, supervising and leading service teams
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Team leadership and facilitation skills in a technical environment
Self-motivated, able to make independent decisions
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience in Aerospace products
