The Engineering and Maintenance Manager is responsible for implementing systems, managing equipment, and leading people to achieve world class levels of equipment reliability and uptime. Maintenance department management includes the implementation and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance systems, effective planning and scheduling, employee performance and development, problem solving, tooling design and repair, and meeting all applicable budgets. This position also has overall responsibility for capital project management and the plant risk prevention program.
Manages programs and develops/implements changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Develops, maintains, and implements systems to manage equipment
Leads people to achieve world class levels of equipment reliability and uptime
Responsible for enforcing and growing predictive and preventive programs to improve the overall performance of plant equipment
Responsible for capital project management and plant risk prevention programs
Create and improve the scheduling and planning system to ensure full utilization of resources including labor and materials to achieve established goals
Ensure appropriate inventory levels of spare parts to maximize working capital while ensuring high service rates
Create and implement succession plans to ensure business stability and individual development
“Your Skills Matter” - What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
8-10 years progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, and leadership
Six Sigma Green belt with demonstrated project success preferred
Ability to build relationships
Strong communication skills
