Saint-Gobain’s Taunton, Massachusetts manufacturing team produces silicone tubing used in life-saving pharmaceutical and medical applications, such as IV drug delivery, health management, vaccine development, and testing as well as the components for life-improving applications related to drug manufacturing and medical procedures.
★ SIGN-ON BONUS: $500 sign-on (eligible after 90 days of employment)
The Extrusion Operator safely operates all equipment, follows pertinent SOP and ISO guidelines, inspects product, and produces an acceptable product, with minimum scrap, while following quality guidelines, ISO, Safety Regulations, and customer requirements.
WORK SCHEDULE:
3rd shift schedule is 11PM-7:30AM
The work schedule includes working a minimum of 3 weekend days per 4-week cycle. The 4-week cycle will consist of working at least 1 full weekend (Saturday & Sunday combined).
Opportunity for overtime when available.
The compensation package includes a shift and weekend differential
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred, not required
Mathematical and measuring skills
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
The ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
The ability to read and understand work orders and product specifications
Ability to see defects at close range
Control Precision - The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions to achieve specifications.
Finger Dexterity - The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Reaction Time - The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.
Ability to work in a respectful way in a collaborative environment.
Ability to work as a team to meet goals/KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
