Position Description

Job Summary

The SG Malvern Campus Facilities Team is looking for an intern to help support the team in project management, meeting facilitation/presentations and building utilization studies.  This internship is intended to provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the areas of project management, office safety and sustainability, workspace planning and technology.

Essential Functions

• Collecting and analyzing online utility and sustainability data

• Work with the facility manager to compose office safety and 5S communications

• Assist with monitoring tasks for building evolution project

• Evaluate usage of MS Teams and other building Audio/Visual technologies

• Assist campus team with monitoring desk usage/ social distancing and other safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a four-year accredited degree program, preferably in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Business management or a related field

• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PPT, Excel

• Working knowledge of MS Teams/Zoom

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal

• Good interpersonal skills

• Team oriented

• Results focused

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Flexible, but organized
