Job Purpose
This position is responsible for being a direct finance partner to our Industrial Fabrics production business here in Dublin. The aim is to facilitate in a wide array of finance activities and projects to deliver an open, engaging and value-adding finance presence into the business.
The role also will be expected to provide business insight for management to help support the strategic initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
Expectations will include driving a strong internal control and working capital focused culture into the business.
Principle End Results
Preparation, review and analysis of monthly financial results.
Identification of key result variances, required actions and communication to key stakeholders.
Cost control analysis coupled with action plan creation where necessary.
Preparation of month end business reporting and ad hoc reporting.
Full understanding of SAP product costing and margin analysis.
Ownership of a detailed and rigorous financial budget and forecast for P&L, balance sheet, capex and cash.
Develop and execute specific initiatives to optimize working capital.
Oversee capital expenditure planning, forecasting and business case development for key investments.
SVA/PVA analysis to provide insight on customer, product sales and margin progression.
Ensure inventory is properly valued and controlled by maintaining strong reconciliation and cycle count processes.
Monitor and implement business unit level internal controls to ensure reporting integrity, safeguarding of company assets and mitigation of key business risks.
Partner closely with Finance Shared Services Centre to ensure smooth relationships with the business unit.
Operate as a primary finance presence in various operational projects and day-to-day activities.
Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function and wider business to streamline workload and optimize time spent on higher value business support.
Support of WCM products ensuring accurate and timely calculation of savings impact on the P&L.
