    Position Description

    Job Summary

    CertainTeed Corporation, Roofing Division, is looking for a talented finance intern at our North America headquarters, located in Malvern, PA, who can bring value added analysis to the Roofing finance team.  This person will also be involved with some project(s) related to enhancing our existing analysis and reporting to management. 

    Key Projects this individual could be involved in:

    • Work with Director of FP&A to create and automate Plant Pack templates to be used for Monthly Plant reviews with management team

    • Provide support in updating various budgeting files/presentation templates for the upcoming 2024 Budget.

      • Looking to align 2024 budget files with corporate definition of fixed/variable, add automation to link file for SAP budget upload templates, and incorporate budget file feed graphs for budget presentation.
    • Help support new IFRS16 tool, K-IFRS, to better understand the reporting capabilities and provide details to Director FP&A, Regional Controllers, and Plant Controllers

    Required Qualifications

    • Solid foundation in general ledger accounting
    • Experience analyzing variances in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment
    • Strong Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables
    • Ability to handle and understand multiple IT platforms

    • Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CMA or MBA preferable or equivalent

    • SAP/Qlikview and experience a plus (or other large ERP system)

    • GL Wands experience a plus

    • Magnitude experience a plus

    • Ability to handle and understand multiple IT platforms
