CertainTeed, L.L.C., a major manufacturer of building materials, has a full-time opening for a qualified 1st Class Electrician in the maintenance department at its roofing products facility in Milan, Ohio.
This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics proficiently. The successful candidate must be familiar, through hands-on experience, with PLC hardware, PLC troubleshooting, and ladder logic. Programming experience is a plus but not required. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all electrical installations and components in the facility and be familiar with touch screen technology function and development. Experience with robotics is also a plus.
Shift: 7 pm-7 am on a 3-4-3 schedule with every other weekend off.
Hourly wage: $31.45 with a .85 shift differential.

What’s the job?
Possess excellent troubleshooting skills along with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Work independently to troubleshoot and repair all electrical equipment installations in the facility.
Must be familiar with touch screen technology function and development
Must have hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC hardware and ladder logic
PLC programming is a plus but not required

What do you bring?
A minimum of a two-year technical degree or Journeyman status is preferred, with 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
SAP experience is desirable
