The Fleet Operations Buyer is responsible for the daily transactional duties of the Materials Handling Equipment (MHE), Heavy Duty Equipment (HDE), and the Auto Fleet Programs reporting to the CAPEX Operations Manager. The buyer will be responsible for
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Fleet Operations buyer role requires a high level of process and analytical thinking, and communication skills. Also necessary is technical expertise and knowledge of the equipment and auto industries, equipment specifications and maintenance in order to present the data to stakeholders along with recommendations. Excellent customer service skills to support the business units. Ability to tailor actions to align with the overall objectives of the businesses and adherence to purchasing professionalism. Problem solving skills and quick thinking required for decision making.
What do you bring?
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field.
Master's Degree is preferred
1-3 Years of experience in Fleet Management is required
1-3 Years of experience in Purchasing is required
1-3 Years of experience in Data Analysis is required
Data analysis; organization of data and KPIs to drive decisions. Good grasp of the equipment specifications and applications in order to make recommendations to sites/plant managers, etc.
Strong Communication Skills, oral and written. Needs to be able to speak with expertise and influence
