This position works within the Maintenance team as a support member primarily focused on general facility maintenance.
The candidate will have 1-3 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is concerned with a variety of areas in our Manufacturing facility.
Must be able to work unsupervised, efficiently and safely. Ability to learn, and perform all duties required of the position. Demonstrated ability of cooperation, leadership and willingness to assist fellow employees in a team-based work environment.
Principle End Results
The duties and responsibilities of this position are geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient site while also supporting the overall project. The list of duties may include the following:
Clean-up efforts (interior/exterior/landscaping), employee environment improvements.
Actively / proactively looks for ways to improve the facility in both appearance and functionality.
Clean and clear debris, trash and other waste to keep the site clean and safe.
Report repair and maintenance needs to proper personnel and assist maintenance personnel as assigned.
Maintain various tools and equipment used in the course of work in a clean, orderly and safe working condition.
Handle and transport materials as needed according to direction from the site supervisor.
Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
High school education or equivalent preferred
1-3 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
Attentive to detail and alert at all times to ensure safety.
Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including but not limited to lifting up to 50 pounds.
Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols.
