Job Summary
The Electronic Controls Repairperson reports to the Maintenance Supervisor in our Insulation plant in Kansas City, KS.
The starting pay is $34.60/hour and the rotating schedule is as follows:
- Work Saturday - Friday (7 days) 7:30AM - 3:30PM (1st shift)
- Off Saturday - Tuesday (4 days)
- Work Wednesday - Tuesday (7 days) 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM (3rd shift)
- Off Wednesday - Thursday (2 days)
- Work Friday - Thursday (7 days) 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd shift)
- Off Friday (1 day)
- Repeat schedule
The successful candidate will exercise a working knowledge of the theories and practice of electric, electronic, pneumatic, combustion, and instrumentation systems; including test equipment. The Electronic Controls Repairperson will read, understand and work from all types of drawings, prints, and system diagrams and specifications with the highest degree of skill in their performance of maintenance installation and troubleshooting. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of the range of voltages, Allen Bradley PLCs, instrumentation experience, troubleshooting 4-20 mA circuits, variable frequency drives, power generators, transformers, lighting, and servos along with Yokogawa DCS systems.
This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work on and troubleshoot many different pieces of equipment. Additionally, preventative maintenance will be performed regularly.
The ability to work safely and work successfully with others is imperative for this role.
