Process engineering co-op will assist in assembling of data for the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Under direct supervision/guidance, this position will work along with teams to compile, analyze and report operational, test, and research data to establish validated processes and performance standards for new product introductions or modified products, processes, or materials.
In this position, the candidate will use engineering principles to provide technical support. Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in functional department safety meetings.
Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a focus in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Bio-Medical)
Completed credits to achieve Junior Status, required.
Completed credits to achieve Senior Status, preferred.
Prior experience as an Engineering Intern or Co-op, preferred.
Excellent analytical skills, hands-on approach, proactive safety approach and sense of urgency in problem-solving, required.
Computer literate: MS Office, MS Project, required.
Computer literate: AutoCad, and SolidWorks, preferred.
Familiarity with MRP system(s) like SAP / QAD, preferred.
Proven ability to work on and lead a project team, required.
Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and handle multiple projects simultaneously, required.
Proven project management completion skills including excellent presentation skills, technical writing skills, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate a project in an effective manner, required
