Saint-Gobain Research (SGR) North America is looking for a driven, talented, and experienced researcher to join our SGSS R&D team in managing the IP portfolio and to be an analyst for competitive intelligence. The researcher should be able to take on additional responsibilities and prioritize tasks, as and when required to support the business needs.
IP portfolio management includes disclosure management, patent application workflow, overall portfolio management and support special IP projects; all in coordination with the IP attorneys in charge of SGSS IP. Further, the candidate will be responsible for developing people within the group directly or indirectly. Also, develops future successors in collaboration with the supervisor.
Competitive Intelligence activities include proactively monitoring key competitors’ developments regularly and synthesizing information to be presented to worldwide R&D managers/directors and the leadership team, as needed.

MS Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a PhD with a minimum of 2 years of experience in science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or other related disciplines
US Patent Agent Certification preferred
