This position will be a 3rd shift or rotating shift position.

We offer a sign on bonus after 90 days. All employees are eligible for a performance based bonus program that pays up to 10% of your annual salary. Benefits are eligible from Day 1. Saint-Gobain also provides multiple forms of retirement such as a pension program and a matching 401K.

Salary $18.01/hr. + Shift Differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh materials per the specifications set for each batch.
• Ability to make in-process adjustments based on information (temp, flow, etc.)
• Must be able to blend liquid batches needed to spray dry.
• Load raw material into machine and set up to run. Then monitor the batch.
• Mainly work independently, but as part Transfer liquids as needed from vessel to vessel.
• Run the Spray Dryer per specified instructions on each batch sheet.
• Accurately and completely fill out paperwork as needed.
• Perform pre-shift preparation and ensure that all surfaces that will contact product (piping/vessels) are sanitized and ready for operation.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed during wash-ups.
• Clean and sanitize room areas as needed.
• Follow batch sheet without deviation while mixing product.
• Read daily production schedule and process orders in the established sequence. Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and turn in to appropriate personnel, fill out work orders as needed.
• Be able to set up presses for cleanup. Including the batchers and blender.
• Complete electronic and written production reporting

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills for production data entry, required
• QAD experience, a plus
• Minimum of three to five years of experience with mixing/blending/pressing operations.
• Flexible work hours will be necessary (between 1st and 2nd shift type hours); this position will mostly be evenings shift after training and as the activity changes.
