• 2nd Shift : 3:00PM - 11:30PM; Monday - Friday 

This position is responsible to perform preventive maintenance, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and improvements on the building, machinery and equipment which includes mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems under the direction of the Maintenance lead with little to no supervision. Employee will work from verbal and written instructions and use blueprints, sketches and schematic drawings. Project planning and implementation as well as working with contractors and vendors is expected. Employee will maintain a safe working environment, comply with all safety procedures, PPE requirements and participate in functional department safety meetings. Exhibit good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management Systems) requirements. Overtime and weekend work will be required as needed. Other duties not listed may be required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in maintenance of a manufacturing facility required.

• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills required.

• Proficiency in trouble shooting and diagnostic skills required.

• Proficiency in operation of maintenance equipment required.

• Understands basic MIOSHA/OSHA standards, safety and quality issues involved in maintaining equipment and the facility required.

• Experience with preventive maintenance program required.

• Familiarity with emergency procedures, equipment and systems of hazardous materials required.

• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the site plus meet commitments and deadlines.

• Understand all SOP’s as they relate to jobs, and understands the effect their position has in the quality systems, ISO, and GMP.

• Ability to work well with changing priorities and or situations.
