Saint-Gobain has an immediate employment opportunity in the Denver area for a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift). This is an opportunity to become part of a family-friendly team, in an expanding company, with room for advancement.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (OT as required), 2:00pm-10:30pm
Job status: Full-time – Permanent
Hourly: $27.30 - $38.22 (Depending on experience)

Summary:

Maintenance Technician performs maintenance duties throughout the facility, repairs, fixes and tunes production machinery as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machines and plant equipment
• Able to read schematics and PLC’s along with troubleshooting 2 & 3 phase motors
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
• Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations to Supervisor
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Work Environment:

• Plant environment

• Exposure to a noisy environment and outside weather conditions

• Overtime as required

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines

• Must be able to use basic tools and preform repairs

Additional Description

Education:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)

• 2 years Mechanical and Maintenance experience

• 2 years of Electrical experience
