We are NOW hiring two Material Handlers to work in our Production environment!
What’s the job?
The Material Handler supports the production line by staging the glass racks so they can run at maximum efficiency. This involves moving racks of glass with a forklift or vacuum lift.driving a forklift and manually moving glass using a vacuum lift. This role includes the use of an inventory system.
Essential Functions:
Sort miscellaneous racks of glass for the lamination and IG lines (move racks from one location to another with forklift and move glass from one rack to another by hand or with vacuum lift)
Maintain staging area clear for racks to be brought by the warehouse crew
Glass consolidation and scrapping of overrun
Cycle count
What do you bring?
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Well organized with the ability to work with little or no supervision
Some computer skills
Lift frequently / physically active
