Planner is responsible for production planning and coordination of multiple products and production workflow while prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Assist with continuous improvement, product flow and capacity improvement to improve the overall efficiency of manufacturing and communication of issues.
Plan and direct Production and Inventory Control for Operations to insure customer commits and Inventory objectives are met.
Work directly with Purchasing to insure purchased material is available to meet the scheduled requirements.
Review part availability including quality approval prior to scheduling.
Implement and maintain Factivity in coordination with the MRP system. Ensure QAD data is accurate and support changes to improve the system.
Coordinate operations planning process to ensure that there is material and capacity available to support both Customer commits and forecast.
Manage inventory levels for key materials, components and assemblies and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain.
Direct the Inventory team to ensure that process controls are in place that will allow accurate Cycle counting.
Relay relevant information to management regarding material shortages, potential schedule interruptions, manpower shortages and possible equipment issues that would affect a smooth and timely production input.
Coordinate production team to insure schedule and customer deliveries are met. Stay current with software development, provide on-site technical expertise for the ERP system and write ad-hoc reports as required.
Analyze customer demand information, forecast, orders, labor, and material availability and develop a flexible yet efficient master schedule. Identify procedural improvements to the Operations process to eliminate waste.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or the equivalent experience (Preferred)
3+ years in manufacturing operations, including manufacturing systems, product costing and planning (Required)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the pay range for this position which is $77,400 to $98,800 per year,
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $85,100 to $108,600 Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
