The Process Engineer will provide the technical and creative expertise to improve existing product lines or introduce new product lines in support of the overall objectives of the Company. He / She will assume a leadership role in solving assigned development projects. Responsibilities include initiation and successful completion of process improvement and control projects including technical data collection, interpretation and reporting. Also responsible for coordination and on-time completion of multiple projects and ongoing activities to support manufacturing operations. This position will coordinate, direct and participate in assigned technical development projects. Leads and applies lean concepts to continuous improvement team. Establishes pilot studies, prepares sample materials and tests for desired results. Analyzes project alternatives giving due consideration to customer needs, production equipment capabilities, cost estimates and time planning. Prepares and documents all technical reporting on assigned projects. Conduct presentations, seminars and training sessions to keep all levels of management informed on any new technical breakthrough or manufacturing concept changes. Supports and complies to ISO standard. Manages several projects simultaneously Works with sales, application engineering, process engineering and manufacturing to assist in completing customer orders.
B.S. Degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Ceramic Engineering, Ceramic Science, Material Science, etc.)
