Production Operators
The CertainTeed facility in Silver Grove, KY manufactures Wallboard and we are looking to train energetic dedicated team members. Schedule: 12 hour rotating shifts; 7:00am-7:00pm and 7:00pm-7:00am that will rotate every 4 weeks.
Compensation: Starting wage $21/hour PLUS a $2.00 shift differential
Additional Bonus: Immediately eligible to participate in the employee bonus program

Production Operator Duties:
· Production Operators will be working on a continuous production line which produces Wallboard.
· Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the equipment in a safe and reliable manner. This includes: making rounds where equipment is checked for proper operation, sampling the product at different points in the manufacturing process, and maintaining compliance with all safety policies.
· Perform safety startup and shutdown of the equipment using the appropriate procedure and checklist.
· Perform minor maintenance and report any equipment needing repair to their supervisor.
Additional Skills:
· Must be able to understand written and verbal orders while working indecently and as part of a production team.
· Consistently completes operator standards, works in a timely manner, and takes accountability for actions.
· Maintain a safe work environment by wearing the correct PPE and adhering to all safety policies.
· Enter production tests and results into the system.
· Use basic hand tools, including reading a tape measure.
Physical Demands:
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be capable of working in various climates.
Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
