    Job Summary

    The Bradenton facility manufactures acoustical ceiling grid systems by utilizing roll formers, flying shears, conveyor systems, punches/dies, and mechanical presses.

    Essential Duties:
    •Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
    •Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift.
    •Inspect products to ensure quality and customer specifications throughout the shift.
    •Safely operate a press and roll former.
    •Notify Lead if individual notices any issues with equipment on the production line.
    •Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace at end of shift.
    •Correctly report production in the SAP system.
    •Keep track of scrap and downtime during the shift and submit to Shift Supervisor at end of each shift.
    •Assembles & staple packing boxes.
    •During plant downtime this position assists with plant housekeeping, maintenance, and warehouse duties.
    •Performs other duties requested by a shift supervisor and Site Management.

    Shifts available:

    • Full-time - 1st: 5:00am-3:00pm, 2nd: 2:30pm-12:30am – Monday-Thursday, OT as needed Friday-Sunday
    • Part-time - 1st Shift: 5:00am-10:00AM & 10:00AM-3:00PM Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift: 2:30PM-7:30PM & 7:30PM-12:30AM Monday-Friday, OT as needed Saturday-Sunday

    Additional Bonus: Immediately eligible to participate in the annual bonus program

    Required Qualifications

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:•1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.•High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience•Ability to read policies & procedure manuals.•Ability to safely operate/use hand and power tools.•Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, thickness gauge, dial indicator, etc.)•Attention to detail•Multi-task & be flexible with assignments.•Must have general computer skills abilities in order to complete and/or update reports, orders, etc.•Experience with Microsoft Office Products a plus (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)•Must be able to work 10-12 hourshifts and work weekends when necessary.
