Production Supervisor - 3rd shift, Manufacturing - Mobility

We are seeking an individual that will oversee the production operations on our third shift, monitoring the performance of approximately 30 operators.  You will develop action plans for training and people development as well as leading and coaching direct and indirect reports.   Most of your time will be on the production floor , learning the various processes and equipment used, setting production machines and personnel scheduling.   You will be involved in objectives related to Safety, Quality. Environmental, Timeliness and Cost Effectiveness of work within the production floor and meeting on time delivery dates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.  Consideration will be given for commensurate experience supervising/managing shop floor personnel in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a formal Bachelor's degree.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role of production employees in a manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Must be a team player, self starter and meet commitments and deadlines with limited direct supervision.

• Proficient use of Computers, spreadsheet software and have Analytical skills

Additional Description

Knowledge of materials and inventory control practices, production scheduling and working in an ISO environment  in a manufacturing environment helpful.
