    What’s the job?

    The Project Engineer II position exists to lead and manage engineering projects for the Ennis plant. The scope of the Project Engineer II encompasses the maintenance and upgrade of the grounds, buildings, and operational equipment, plan and direct engineering activities, provide security to and improvement of equipment and process, provide a work place free from recognized hazards and which meets specific safety and health standards.

    • Develop new or modify existing equipment, machines or processes to improve product quality, service reliability, reduce costs or increase capacity

    • Perform calculations and cost estimates of mechanical systems.

    • Plan mechanical project work through team coordination meeting and scheduling.

    • Troubleshoot and make improvements of operations, efficiency and safety.

    • Consult with manufacturing engineers and maintenance personnel on mechanical projects, problems and techniques to resolve critical situations expeditiously and achieve production goals.

    • Update and maintain current documentation of mechanical specifications, drawings and safety procedures.

    • Define the problems of requesting department, and translate them into engineering solutions through innovation and advanced engineering approaches to respond in and efficient and timely manner to production meds and requirements.

    • Apply WCM tools to projects and processes to improve quality, reduce defects and thereby improving costs.

    Required Qualifications

    What do you bring?

    • S. Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
    • At least two-year’s experience in design preferably in a manufacturing setting.
    • Six Sigma experience is a plus
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
    • SAP experience is desirable
