    What’s the job?

    The Project Manager position is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of projects assigned. The Project Manager I will work closely with upper management, as well as other support departments, to ensure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. This position will manage a portfolio of $2M - $4M per year.

    · Effectively identify and manage project scope, budget, schedule and timeline of project from sales to closeout

    · Communicate and follow up with clients about specific projects and goals and will collect data that will impact the schedule of projects

    · Maintain customer expectations and timelines; Nurture client relationships

    · Ensure all project documents are submitted and approved according to the PM Process Maps

    · Ensure that the purchase order received is compatible with the terms of the project proposals

    · Develop accurate and detailed project plans for a variety of projects

    · Ensure all aspects of projects are properly and thoroughly documented

    · Create and manage project schedules and budget; track and report project milestone

    · Communicate, both verbally and written, the project requirements and status to cross-functional, support teams

    · Diagnose and resolve project issues – schedule meetings at correct times with support teams to get project back on schedule, if necessary

    · Provide project status reviews on a regular basis to Sr. Management

    · Make timely decisions based on facts and circumstances

    · Conduct project closeout meetings designed to capture the lessons learned of the project and relate suggestions for continuous improvement

    · Will learn all the various product type offerings available

    · Develop and strengthen ability to read plans and shop drawings

    · Will work with Level II and III PMs on core competency development 50% of the time

    · Will manage a portfolio of $1M - $2M cycling every 6 months / $2M – $4M per year

    Required Qualifications

    · Ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet critical deadlines

    · Ability to work independently or as a team as required

    · Ability to work effectively with customers according to deadlines and under pressure-filled conditions is essential

    · Be an active listener

    · 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial construction or equivalent

    · Ability to read construction drawings, perform take-offs, and material optimizations

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software; Working knowledge of databases

    · Experience in team-oriented environment

    · High School or equivalent

    · Reliable transportation
