Reporting to the Wayne site Supply Chain Manager, the Procurement Leader, with the support of 2 to 3 direct reports, is responsible for all site’s activities relative to purchasing processes, negotiation, sourcing, contract management, supplier panel and supplier development, account payable reconciliation, projects and capex suppliers relations. The role must ensure efficient, cost effective and compliant procurements practices, always seeking optimizations and continuous improvement.
In addition, the individual will implement sourcing strategies at the site level in coordination with the different group purchasing communities (branches, regions, central)
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Supply Chain or other purchasing related field required in addition to:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment in relevant function.
2+ years of experience in leading successfully direct report(s).
Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Excel and MRP/ERP software systems is necessary. Excellent analytical and negotiating skills, combined with good oral and written communication skills, excellent organization, planning and follow up skills are important.
APICS, CPSM, CPM, CSCP, CPIM highly considered as well as demonstrated project management skills, PMP, CPM..
