    SageGlass®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, located in Faribault, MN, produces electronically tintable glass for windows, skylights, and curtain walls. It tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades or blinds. SageGlass transforms the indoor experience by controlling sunlight to optimize daylight, outdoor views and comfort while preventing glare, fading and overheating without the need for blinds or shades.

    We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our talented Finance Team!

    What’s the job?

    As a Senior Financial Analyst your duties will encompass providing cost analysis, standard cost development, budgeting, forecasting, financial and cash generation analysis. This position is responsible for all aspects of cost accounting including variance analysis and month-end closing. This role will provide staff and management with accurate and timely information, reporting that will assist them in monitoring performance in order to reach company established goals and objectives. 

    Essential Functions:

    • Provide cost analysis, standard cost establishment, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis & support to Sage management

    • Ensure prompt month-end/year-end closing, issue management reports

    • Provide non-routine accounting information to SBU Controller, CFO & Operational Management

    • Participate in continuous improvement efforts/WCM/Loss Deployment as well as physical inventory counts

    • Undertake project work assigned by BU Controller which includes multiple projects covering varying accounting needs of facility

    • Complete assigned projects by the SBU Controller, CFO as required

    Required Qualifications

    What do you bring?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required while a master's degree is preferred

    • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred

    • 5+ years of manufacturing experience related to cost accounting and financial reporting

    • Broad accounting knowledge with some familiarity, or the ability to learn accounting and ERP manufacturing processes systems

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    • Knowledge of Product Structures (BOM) and Routings and QAD Accounting Package

    • Ability to develop & conduct training sessions for both groups & individuals

    • Develop processes & procedures to ensure alignment of internal controls (ICRF) in a complex organization

    • Experience in manufacturing forecasting, planning & analysis (FP&A) – strong manufacturing, S&OP knowledge/background in quantitative analysis; furthermore, ability to solve complex problems

    • Proactive approach mindset

    • Project Management – execution oriented and rigorous in meeting performance commitments

    • Experience in manufacturing environment, with a focus on standard cost development, cycle-counting & physical inventory knowledge

    • Cash generation & highlighting opportunities to improve cash

    • Capital management, Post-Investment reviews highlighting performance vs. planned ROI

    • Ability to lead and support the SBU Controller and CFO on details supporting the financial performance of the business

    • Ability to provide information in an open and transparent manner

    • Ability to persuade and influence others

    • Ability to analyze and provide recommendations for complex business issues to address, mitigate financial gaps within EBITDA, CFLE & ROCE for the business
