What’s the job? 

This role supports the Workforce Management (WFM) team with the Saint-Gobain WFM solution for more than 15,000 U.S. and Canadian employees working in multiple legal entities to deliver the highest quality of service to our internal customers. 

This position provides analytical and technical support of the WFM solution and work closely with Payroll Operations, Human Resources (HR), Operations, and Human Capital Management.  

Required Qualifications

CONFIGURATION and TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • As the subject matter expert, work with HR, Operations and IT staff to ensure time clocks are functioning as required and interfacing with WFM solution.  Includes set-up, configuration, and troubleshooting issues as they may arise from time-to-time for 12,000+ users of the Time & Attendance system.  Maintain and coordinate device (clocks) maintenance with WFM solution and sites.
  • Assist in defining business needs and requirements for the WFM solution.  Build and configure WFM solution to documented specifications to meet the business needs including the foundational blocks and rules required to administer policy changes, pay practice changes, union contracts, accruals, etc. 
  • Maintain and update security and user access roles within the WFM solution including the assignment of licenses and badges.
  • Maintain and update schedules as required by the customers within the WFM solution. 
  • Execute test scripts for testing of WFM solution to ensuring testing configuration adds/changes, system upgrades/releases, mergers & acquisitions and divestitures are aligned with business requirements and needs.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT

  • Provide analytical and technical support to HR’s and Operations on issues/questions related to the WFM solution while insuring that best practices are being followed. 
  • Assist with problem-solving WFM system issues. Includes responding to payroll production issues, investigate root cause of problems, proposing and testing corrective action, and working with peers, managers, and end users to affect change.
  • Assist with helpdesk tickets for WFM solution; resolve tickets timely and accurately. Support system integration testing that requires time and labor data in support of program enhancements, system releases and upgrades to the payroll system.
  • Provide reporting on helpdesk tickets to management for tracking.
  • Assists in training internal customers on the WFM solution and processes.

OTHER

  • Assist with projects and other initiatives involving WFM Solution including upgrades & releases, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, continuous improvement, compliance programs, etc.

  • Support information requests for external and internal audits, provide required information per request lists.

  • Responsible for managing the process flow maps for the Payroll General Ledger, Union Dues and Shared Service charges including analysis and maintenance for tables and interfaces provided to Payroll customers. 

  • Maintains set up and performs required testing in the general ledgers as a result of changes in business systems, structures, processes, mergers and acquisitions.

  • Support Manager to ensure compliance with Saint-Gobain Company policies, the Internal Control Reference Framework “ICRF” and Information Technology Automated Controls “ITAC”.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience - Required

  • Minimum of 3-year experience as consultant, helpdesk or other related customer support role - Required

  • Experience in configuration of time and attendance policies in UKG (Kronos) WFD/WFC application - Preferred

  • Strong communication and analytical skills – Required

  • Experience in accounting principles - Preferred

  • Experience working with unions – Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing industry – Preferred
