2nd Shift Jewelry Coordinator

Job Description: Schedule: Sun-Thurs 3:00pm-10:30 pm OT when required What This Position is All About The coordination of Jewelry receipts through Receiving, Transfers and Returns. Inspections to ensure jewelry is in saleable condition before moving to inventory. Communication with vendors and buyers regarding receiving discrepancies or damage to new jewelry receipts. Overall coordination of the area and jewelry associates. Post high school education is desired. 3-5 years of experience in a retail, wholesale, or direct to consumer inventory control function, preferably in an automated environment. - Possess articulate verbal and written and written skills. Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner to all levels. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task when needed. - Excellent organizational and efficiency skills. - Analytical skills to identify issues, trends and proper solution to resolve any inventory issues. - Must have understanding of English language both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate understanding of English during the interview process. - The incumbent is required to possess sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to; standing for long periods of time (up to 10 hours), lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly, walking long distances repeatedly, bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs repeatedly, manual dexterity of hands to process orders, push or pull up to 50 lbs. As The Jewelry Senior Coordinator, you will: - Receive, verify, and put-away jewelry in accordance with company standards - Assist in resolving discrepancies between bulk cards and items received - Perform quality assurance and inventory control related activities on a daily basis including, but not limited to, Inbound Receipt Verification, checking quality, and cleaning and packaging of jewelry for outbound orders - Perform data entry as required to ensure all transactions are entered - Have attention to detail - Maintain a neat and organized work area - Cross-train and support the production departments as required - Manage assigned area and ensure all orders are picked and shipped according to our SLA’s - Identify and resolve order issues and ensure shipping deadlines for these orders are met - Ensure appropriate management levels are aware of problem trends so corrective measures can be implemented - Identify/resolve inventory discrepancies related to customer order issues - Know how to present information and respond to questions from management - Know how to define problems and identify possible solutions - Must be able to work independently - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Your Life and Career at Saks: - Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner- operator! - Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities, from retail to supply chain, to digital or corporate. - A culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balance. - Benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental). - An amazing employee discount.
