What This Position Is All About: You are a team contributor focused on transforming the network and telecom infrastructure for our Store, data centers, and Cloud environment. Excited to build something new. Eager to develop, test, and implement new network architecture. Experienced in migrating and connecting physical networks to the AWS cloud. Making network upgrade and configuration recommendations based on performance metrics and capacity planning. Contribute to developing and maintaining framework policies and procedures (including: incident, problem, change, configuration, and capacity management) to ensure that standardized methods and best practices are utilized. Drive resolution of high-severity outages impacting IT infrastructure. Provide problem resolution for highly complex infrastructure issues for enterprise infrastructure groups. Monitor global alerts/threats and work with CISO and security team to protect the company network. Evaluate, design, analyze, and maintain all existing and new WAN/LAN network equipment including: routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SDWAN, and wifi. Participate in establishing metrics, key performance indicators and monitoring of the network and networking components. Contribute to tool improvements and operational support processes and procedures. Maintain and support the Voice infrastructure contributing to telephony projects including determining technology and developing migration strategies including phone services, VoIP, voice mailboxes, auto attendants on Avaya and Zoom Phone Key Qualifications: College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required. Minimum of eight years of network engineering experience - Information Systems and Information Security experience in a medium to large enterprise environment. Knowledge of multiple operating system environments, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, AIX, AWS. Able to make recommendations on best in class solutions. Networking technologies: Cisco (CCNA), Meraki, Fortigate, and Palo Alto Monitoring Technologies: Solarwinds Orion, Nagios, NetBrain Experience with large-scale information systems projects and service delivery In-depth understanding of core technology issues, including network protocols, cryptography, virtualization technology, Cyber threat and defense processes. Demonstrable experience with cloud environments such as AWS and/or Azure networking and security standards. Must be able to create enterprise level documentation with accompanying diagrams. Experience in PCI, SOC and ISO certification standards.
