    Position summary

    Manager is responsible for the strategy and design of Salesforce's healthcare benefits in the US. This role is part of a team responsible for programs such as medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and time off. The role requires a strategic problem solver who can develop multi-year strategies, design, implement, and manage benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategy Development: Stay informed of emerging trends, competitive practices, and needs of employees to develop multi-year goals and strategies to achieve them for US healthcare and time off programs

    • Program Management: Design and manage comprehensive US healthcare and time off employee benefit programs

    • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.

    • Compliance: Ultimately responsible for compliance for US healthcare and time off programs, partnering with internal and external collaborators to complete compliance obligations. Stay updated on legislative changes and adjust programs as necessary.

    • Employee Communication: Provide input to communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits. Identify key communication opportunities to support program goals.

    • Data Analysis: Analyze benefits data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management.

    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for benefit programs. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

    • Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SPHR) is a plus

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in benefits management

    • Large company and high-tech industry experience preferred

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of US health care and time off employee benefits programs and regulations

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to develop multiyear goals and strategies

    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

    For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $213,800.

    Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
