The leader of the team will manage a team of Marketing Cloud Technical Architects dedicated to providing technical and subject matter expertise in pursuit of sales opportunities involving Marketing solutions. The leader will be responsible for developing their team, encouraging a growth mindset, and openly recognizing success, all aimed at creating a solid collaborative, team-based culture and promoting a world-class employee experience.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, experience solutioning and selling to enterprise accounts, experience managing and leading a team, and have experience building and managing projects that help solution engineers better solution the product portfolio.

The Manager will:

  • Report to the Vice President of Solution Experts team
  • Take on a player-coach role and actively work with your team members to solve complex problems.
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet field demand for specialized resources.
  • Work with solutions leadership and other internal stakeholders regularly to prioritize resource allocation and enablement initiatives to drive scale. 
  • Develop and manage strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic deals and support team members to grow the Marketing Cloud business.
  • Support the Architect team by guiding solution strategies and approaches to solve specific problems 
  • Hire, onboard, coach, and perform employee reviews and evaluations.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and programs as needed to support the team's career development and advancement.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • The Solution Engineering Manager should be proficient with CRM, CDP, and marketing technologies (or other Enterprise business applications).

  • Possess analytic capabilities and an understanding of Salesforce reporting tools.

  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with internal resources such as field solution engineers (SEs), SE leaders, product marketing, services, and other partners across the business

  • The SE Manager must be experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine the best path to success for our customer accounts.

  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • BA/BS or 4-year college degree equivalent 
  • Prior solutions management experience
  • Prior experience as an architect, solutions engineer, or other technical support roles
  • Salesforce certifications and/or Trailhead Super Badges
  • Digital marketing experience
