Marketing Cloud -Enterprise Account Executive

About the Position

The Enterprise Account Executive builds, identifies and closes opportunities for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will drive deals from first call to close, and must be a driven individual who can generate a large amount of pipeline for the business within a short period of time, effectively leading sophisticated deals throughout the entire sales process to order form signature. You will be passionate about our strategic enterprise accounts, partnering with other Salesforce Account Executives to drive new sales and success across all of your accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and drive revenue within a specified territory

  • Growing revenue spend within companies of 2,000 employees or more

  • Generate business opportunities through prospecting and cold-calling as well as up-selling into existing accounts

  • Drive brand awareness, campaigns and lead generation in assigned territory

  • Meet and exceed growth expectations of your territory

  • Build and develop a strategic business plan

  • Operational excellence across forecasting and account planning

Requirements

  • A record of 8+ years of sophisticated software sales solutions, involving multiple partners across various departments, with a focus on selling to c-suite marketers

  • Consistent achievement of year over year quota attainment of at least $1M USD in growth revenue

  • Outstanding intuition for business, organisation, tenacity and communication skills – both verbal and written

  • Consistent record of strategic account planning

  • Track record of sales excellence (ability to articulate sales process) is a must and formal sales training is a plus

  • Ideally you will have a knowledge of the Marketing Cloud platform, products, and services however this is not a must.
