Job Details

The Global Safety & Security Team protects the people, brand, business operations, and property of Salesforce by delivering trusted and scalable safety & security programs, focused on a commitment to service. We are searching for an ‘Ohana Floor Security Specialist in Atlanta, GA. This position is office-based in Atlanta and the selectee will report directly to the Physical Security Operations Manager in Atlanta.Role Description

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Representing Salesforce’s core values of trust, customer success, equality, innovation and sustainability.

  • Partnering with the Site Security Manager to support the planning, directing, and executing of event security for small to medium size in-region / on-campus events, and supporting large public facing events when necessary

  • Ensuring alignment with the Site Security Manager to develop customized security plans and post orders for a variety of internal and external events

  • Sourcing outside security vendors to hire additional security coverage to ensure adequate protection at all events.

  • Supporting the Trust & Safety team in pre-event walk throughs, event threat or incident response, or other security-related matters.

  • Conducting investigations and physical incident response as necessary.

  • Interfacing with building property management, building security, or local law enforcement as appropriate.

  • Partnering and collaborating with key internal/external stakeholders to include ‘Ohana floor Events team, Real Estate and Workplace Services, Health & Safety, Trust and Safety, local site leadership, property management and building security, and others to ensure the safety and security of all employees, guests, and assets.

  • Cultivating and maintaining effective liaison with relevant external entities, such as government and law enforcement agencies, industry bodies, regulatory agencies and private sector counterparts

  • Ensuring compliance with all client, local, and venue COVID-19 protocols as required.

  • Executing operations consistent with global security standards and direct enforcement of those standards when necessary

  • Working with meeting hosts and security vendor providers to ensure payment for contractually agreed upon security services is made in a timely manner.

  • Maintaining an environment where our people feel safe and confident in our ability to protect them

The successful candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant event security experience
  • Overall experience of 5+ years in security or closely related services in public or private sector
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and use of our business solutions
  • Ability to look for, identify, and mitigate security compromises
  • Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
  • Strong operational, strategic, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Basic project management skills.
