OVERVIEW
You will join a team that is building one of the many apps focused on providing solutions for our Trailblazers (yes, that’s what we call our users...Trailblazers)! Day-to-day, You will be leading multiple QA teams across different time zones while setting the quality approach, technical vision and adhering to the organizational roadmap to achieve milestones and meeting the overall vision. The successful lead has strong customer focus and is obsessed with continuous quality improvement; they are experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for testing and regression; they are able to develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as to take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy. This role requires someone that demonstrates passion about how things work and how to continually make them better. Trust is our number one value and fundamental to our success. Responsibilities
Working with cross-functional stakeholders and engineering teams to understand the requirements
Developing COE for best practices and resources for effective QA practices and execution in the org
Overseeing the development and execution of test plans, monitoring and reporting on test execution and quality metrics
Creating and maintaining automated test scripts with Selenium webdriver, PageObjects, and similar technologies
Testing new software features and regression testing existing functionality
Ability to identify/resolve system bottlenecks
Act as a gatekeeper, conducting code reviews, and attempting to ensure a high level of code quality within the test framework
Logging defects and feature improvements into our tracking system and seeing each one through to completion
Experience refactoring legacy frameworks, improving code quality and share-ability
Lead a Test Design Review Board for integration test plans within and across teams with a focus on functional, business, complex scenarios, high-impact projects, usability, and accessibility
Mentor others in automation technologies, tools, and processes
Lead enterprise-level projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle
Leverage Agile work management practices, including sprint planning and retrospectives to track critical deliverables. Partner with product owners for backlog grooming and work prioritization
Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
Foster an environment that encourages quality, productivity, and innovation in accordance with our Values
Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available
