    The Labour Relations Manager is responsible for negotiating in-house collective bargaining agreements between the company and our labour organization. Researches labour law, bargaining procedures, economic data, and wage data common for careers, industries, and countries. The items handled in negotiations include union practices, pensions, healthcare, welfare, salary, and grievances.
    The Labour relations manager also helps to resolve collective disputes, complaints, and strikes. They may work with mediators and arbitrators to figure out and decide on the conditions of new labour agreements.
    In addition the Labour Relations Manager will take on Employee Success project work as required and will support additional geographies within EMEA.

    Responsibilities

    • Acts as a key member of the Employee Success department management team and participates in setting the direction of employee success support activities for the company. Could develop and recommend proposals to the country and regional Employee Success leadership.

    • Facilitates ongoing communication and working relationships with employee representative organizations including coordination of joint labour-management committees.

    • Maintains current knowledge of labour relations trends, legal decisions, and statutory changes. Uses appropriate negotiation strategies to develop bargaining goals and negotiates in-house collective bargaining agreements consistent with the company’s mission, values and goals.

    • Development and ensuring balanced collective work relationships and an encouraging atmosphere at the workplace

    • Research on best practices and standard processes across countries and regions.

    • Can work both on country specific and pan-EMEA labor relations activities and is skilled at leading across multiple countries and initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Degree in business/economics, HR management, law or any other related field

    • +10 years experience in a Human Resources field

    • 3+ years in a European labor relations role or capacity

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral

    • Multi-lingiual in at least two European languages

    • Ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions

    • Listening skills as well as the ability to understand people's background and motives

    • Ability to present information and bargain with employees and managers from different levels
