We are seeking a proven, tactical and high-reaching Regional Sales Director to run a team of senior Account Executives who are tasked with generating growth within an exclusive selection of our strategic Mittelstand accounts across Germany. You will play a key role in advising a successful team of highly visible and motivated sales executives in our rapidly growing sales operation in Germany that generates revenue and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas.

Ideal candidates should possess validated business-to-business sales and prior Enterprise Sales management experience.

Your Impact:

  • Crafting of a growing and diverse team who are seen as trusted advisors to our customer(s) and with internal team members

  • Supporting Account Executives by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required

  • Building strong team unity and collaboration within the business area and across the Salesforce eco-system

  • Developing a high performance team, including recruiting, hiring and training

  • Driving pipeline generation initiatives to increase revenue generating opportunities for the customer account(s)

  • Mentoring and professionally developing team members regarding strategies to ensure a high level of closure rates and opportunity identification

  • Engaging at the C-level in customer organizations

  • Defining the Go-To-Market strategy for the team and accurately reporting on sales activity and forecasting to Area Sales Management

  • Enabling an inclusive and winning team spirit built on trust, open communication and constructive feedback

Required skills:

  • Validated people management and selling experience as an individual contributor in Digital Transformation / multi-product sales environment (Software / SaaS / Cloud)

  • A deep knowledge and insight of the gehobener Mittelstand market in Germany across various industries and regions

  • A passion for the target market itself and understanding of the need to transform and become digital and innovative

  • Affinity for building a thriving, diverse team and having hired and created impactful teams in the past

  • Being a strong partner to the internal recruiting team, driving initiatives to push for diverse & inclusive hiring

  • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the role as a public speaker

  • A team-player who understands to collaborate across different business units and functions

  • Fluent English and German-language skills
