    The Sr. Director will be responsible for overseeing all leadership development programs and initiatives at Salesforce. This role will focus on developing and nurturing top talent within the organization to ensure a robust leadership pipeline and to drive high performance across the organization. They will be a true activator who has a pulse on what is happening in the company, translates it to the team and programs, quickly and agilely so that we are always relevant to the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership development, talent management, and organizational development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive leadership development strategies and programs that align with Salesforce's goals and objectives

    • Manage the design, delivery, and evaluation of leadership development programs for Manager - Vice President (VP) level, including our Milestone Programs and Great Leader pathways

    • Partner closely with our ES Business Partners, Functional Enablement leaders, and the Office of Equality to ensure an aligned leadership development program

    • Partner closely with our Reskilling, Executive Talent Practice and Talent Practice teams to ensure an aligned learning journey from the Talent, Growth and Development team and create a clear service level agreement.

    • Lead a team of leadership development professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional growth opportunities.

    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of leadership development programs, using data and feedback to make continuous improvements.

    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in leadership development and incorporate innovative approaches into Salesforce's programs.

    • Prioritizes staying current with the internal trends, priorities and shifts to ensure consistent relevance to the business. Not be afraid to shift or change priorities

    • Provides input and guidance to Practice Leads on program design, vendor negotiations, and managing team members. Acts as mentor and coach to direct reports, facilitators, coaches, and development practitioners across the business.

    • Ensures close alignment with operations, communications, and data analytics teams for support in the go to market strategy and impact measurement for enterprise learning programs.

    • Drives continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of development initiatives.

    • Bring out the strengths of a small team, and use their best assets

    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.

    • Manage the budget for leadership development programs and ensure cost-effective delivery of initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of dynamic Leadership/Organizational Development/Organizational Effectiveness experience within large organizations or equally sophisticated environments

    • Extensive experience delivering leadership development programs and courses in multiple modalities, including high-touch face-to-face and live-online using a variety of technologies that integrate horizontal and vertical development

    • Team leadership experience with establishing strategic plans and managing budgets and negotiating large vendor contracts

    • Strong understanding of leadership theories, models, and best practices.

    • Phenomenal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Can operate in ambiguity and drive a clear vision for the team, even as things change rapidly

    • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior executives and team members.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.

    • Certification in executive coaching or related areas is a plus.

    • Track record of driving positive organizational change in a fast-paced environment

    This is a hybrid role and connects in the office 3 days per week.

    For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $192,800 to $294,100.

    For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $192,800 to $294,100.

    Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
