    Position summary

    works jointly with our Analytics Experiences engineering team to create the market leading analytics products Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud.

    We are looking for a Senior Director, Product Management to help define and lead our self-service analytics innovations. In addition to managing a team of product managers, you will be working with senior leadership in both Product and Engineering to define our roadmap and the work to bring that roadmap to life.

    Responsibilities:

    Success will be measured by the overall performance of the team of product managers in defining and executing on our product roadmap.

    • Lead a team of product managers, guiding and supporting them, as they work to define and deliver our roadmaps and products.

    • Work with product and engineering executives to craft and refine product strategies.

    • Ensure the product teams are connected to and engaged with our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive the adoption and success of our products.

    • Remove roadblocks and obstacles that may interfere with efficient delivery of our products while looking for ways to streamline and improve our operations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 20+ years experience in analytics software product management.

    • Demonstrated excellence in leading software development programs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

    • Prior successful people management experience.

    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple projects at once.

    For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,700 to $351,800.

    Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
